About the Laureate Club
The Laureate Club is a community for the laureates of the FSK TEORIA and PRAKTYKA competitions. It serves the exchange of experience, networking and the integration of its members. Membership comes with privileges such as: exclusive meetings held every six months, invitations to galas and special events organised by the Foundation, gifts, personally receiving brochures and publications related to the Foundation, and the possibility of cooperating with the Foundation’s media. The Laureate Club is based on voluntary membership and on the proactivity of the people gathered within it.
Club principles
1. We are all on first-name terms
Regardless of age or position, within the Club it is standard to address one another informally, by first name.
2. The principle of reciprocity
The status of an FSK Laureate acts as a safety filter and facilitates networking and the building of informal, private relationships. Members can help one another by sharing knowledge and contacts.
3. The principle of confidentiality
Information and opinions exchanged within the community are confidential, to ensure freedom of discussion on difficult business and social topics without fear of reputational consequences.
4. The principle of purpose
The purpose of the Club is to build long-lasting relationships between its members, not to create a list of potential clients.
5. The principle of being apolitical
The Club is a place that is ideologically and worldview-neutral; the value it upholds is the thought of its Patron – professor Stefan Kuryłowicz – founded on values such as dialogue, sensitivity, the ability to share knowledge, innovation and cooperation.
6. The principle of caring for image
A member’s conduct in business and public life reflects on the public perception of the Club as ambassadors of the Foundation. Events require etiquette and an appropriate dress code.
7. The principle of proactivity
The group may, by prior agreement with the Foundation, organise itself and create — under its patronage — its own event consistent with the spirit of the Club, e.g. a trip abroad or a family picnic for its members.
8. The opportunity to appear publicly
Club members may appear in the Foundation’s media in order to promote it.
